A charity based at the Lighthouse Centre, with doors open for people of all backgrounds.
We aim to bring people together, offering practical help and support.
Social clubs run at Lighthouse on Monday and Friday throughout the year. Each social club offers a two course cooked meal and opportunity to socialise for just £5 per person.
The Monday Social Club is aimed at people aged 60 and over. The Friday Social Club is open to everyone of any age.
Monday 11am – 2pm, includes Bingo
Friday 11am – 2pm, includes a quiz.
LuvEly runs two youth groups at Lighthouse during term-time.
Wednesday 7.30-9.30pm is Garage Youth Theatre. This is for kids age 11 – 17 who would like to have a go at acting, dancing, singing, costume making and set design.
Just £1 per session.
Friday Night Youth, 7.30-9.30pm, for kids in school years 7-13. Lots of activities available with a tuck shop. £1 per child.
LuvEly receives surplus food from local supermarkets which we make available for all in the community to collect. Keep up to date with what’s available by following our facebook page. Helping you to fill your fridge for free and reduce food waste.
LuvEly Associated Projects
LuvEly is associated with various projects which are run by Lighthouse.
Throughout term-time, there is a Parent and Toddler Group which runs from Lighthouse. This is a group for babies and pre-schoolers and their grown-ups.
Every Wednesday from 9.30am-11.30am. Lots of fun with sensory play, craft, ride-on toys and a storytime.
Every Tuesday, 11am-1pm, the Community Hub operates a drop-in service in partnership with organisations from the area. Help is available for mental health, addictions, debt, housing and more. In partnership with the local housing department, Rosmini Centre, CGL, P3, CAP and more.
